2004-05-23 - 1:08 a.m. ok, so I've just got back from Denny's. Tonight was the final night of our show "The Complete History of America (abridged)" Talk about a weird night. . . So one of the leading ladies is married to the Stage manager. BAD!! I mean their both great people but married people should not work on the same play especially if one of them has higher athurity over the other. So me and another actress... Ok wait let me clarify things. I was the lead dresser and there is 3 ladies doing this play. you might be familiar with the play's writers, they brought you the complete works of william shakespeare abridged. The one married to the stage manager got into a fight and we found her crying in the parking lot. What can you do? We sat in the rain for about 20 mins talking to her. I seriously didn't really know how to help her, I mean she really doesn't know what to do about her life especially when its to the point when she doubts her marriage. She's only been married to him for almost 2 years. And another problem is that she doesn't have any money for marriage counseling and until she can get the courage to talk to her parents about it. I mean the husband has terrible communication problems and shes to the point where she doesn't feel beautiful, sexy, or loved. To make matters worse for her, her family is one of those anal frown down upon those who divoirce. Grah I'm so tired that I can't spell worth a damn. So finally we got her home and she wanted to be left alone. Then Me and actress who helped the wife home, went over to Denny's to catch up with the rest of the crew there. Ok, so I'm a terrible person, but the rest of the night I had a lot of fun hanging with them. I'll go to hell for this but I'm crushing on another theatre groupie. Theres this sound tech designer for the show that I've seen around but I've never gotten to talk to. I mean, he decided to have "I'm afraid of American's" by David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails playing as one of the opening songs. A man after my own heart. ^_^ Well he was there at Denny's and I had a choice of sitting next to him or to Chance (who was snuggly with his friend)...teehee its not to guess who I sat next to...He looks more Irish than anything else, redish hair and scruffy face (short beard) and glasses. His name is Matt, well who the hell isn't named that these days, oh well I won't hold it against him. He always struck me as the "quiet nice guy" and he really is nice. We talked the whole time and soon people started leaving. We stayed along with the actress I arrived late with and another theatre geek was there. But yeah...gah, I've become smitten with a theatre guy...Only bad thing is that we finally got to really get to talk to each other and its the last time we had the play. ;_; its all over, so sad.... But hey, next saturday one of the guys is throwing a movie night for the cast and crew, and Matt asked if I'm going and yeah.......^_^ teehee Heres the weird thing, I don't get why I'm acting so giddy about his, I mean he's not what most would call the most attractive guy, but I'm gooogly, I don't get it. I'm gooogly right now...GOOOGLY!!Curse this infatuation with this fop. Damn it! Murf, I need sleep. Ok so I had to log back on to add some more. I just realised there was more to tell. So theres another theatre groupie, the props guy, (John) who's the one thats throwing the movie night, was flirting with me the night before, at Denny's. I mean, nice guy but not my type, he'd get annoying pretty quick. I know from the female crew, he's had a crush on almost all of them and some of the actresses too, hahaha, thats a go on a true initiation to theatre. I love theatre, by the way, I think I've finally found something a truly love and its right for me. Anyway it just struck me that I think what was nice about Matt was that he went into electrical engineering at first and then went into music design. He had alot of interesting things to tell me about different 80's bands and just weird facts in general. Plus, what I guess really makes me happy is that he didn't make any reference to liking something that has to do with asian culture. I mean all the last guys I had dated for some fucking reason had to mention about how they liked the culture as if to fucking impress me. Gah, stupid shit like oh, I love anime, or I think I could be a sushi chief ( the worst cook) I mean I don't give a fuck if you like the culture or not, just don't mention it to me in the first comversation, you're not scoring any points with a girl that way. Rant Rant Rant. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
